Description
There is some unwanted behavior after applying "resize crash fix"in http://trac.osgeo.org/qgis/changeset/15771.
White stripes appearing each time when panning (moving to sides) some vector map or dialog window is opened or closed over the canvas.

Ouch. Seems we have the choice between resize carsh and the white stripes now :-(

I surely prefer white stripes over crashing.

We also found that the rectangle of the zoom-tool is not transparent (on 3/4 kubuntu installations). It would be possible to replace the zoom-tool rectangle (QRubberBand) with a QgsRubberBand to fix it. However, this would be a bit risky so short before the release...
