Occurred when trying to remove a group of 50something shapefiles. The group is the first in the layers tree. The only other element in the tree is an other empty group.
Each shapefile is very simple 4 points polygon with no attribute. The group is visible as well as most of the shapefiles in it.
Before crash, loading, displaying and removing of a substantial amount of shapefiles and geotiffs occurred.
