Description
Often I have data in Geographic Lat-long and want to buffer them to 1km or something similar.
The current way to do this, is to export that layer to a new layer with the appropriate projection, and then buffer the expoted data. This is not convenient, and not at all user-friendly.
I'll rather prefer that an option be available, where the user can select the distance and if it in different units/projection, then maybe the user can select the projection in which to buffer.
This will be much more user friendly, than the current procedure.
P.S. I searched and found only this bug(#8136), but it was closed as it was more of a question.
