Description
Hi,
In Buffer command, there is no option to define the unit of distance (such as in km, m, feet etc.). It only requires inserting the distance but does not specify the unit value in which we have to define the distance.
I have to make buffers in kilometers. Can you please also assist how to convert the km in the unit value which is to be inserted in the buffer distance field?

Hi, this is not the place where to make questions, for that please use the mailing lists, the irc channell or gistackexchange.
The units are always map units, so the units for the coordinate reference system of your project. So if you need to make a 10km buffer and your project is in a CRS in meters, then it will be 10000.
