Description

I'd like to be able to set the default file path in Composer AND make it go back to the last known location when selecting files. Currently, if I want to add an image or icon, it takes me back to it's own 'home' location and I have a lot of clicking to do before I get back to the location I used last time.

This is a general issue and not only one about the composer. There are still many places in QGIS where the browsing star point is not ideal and many tools that do not remember the last used folder.

anyway this issue was already raised and there are other tickets about it, but cannot find them now. Please search for them and close this as duplicate.
