Please tell me this is easy to fix, even user error.
Briefly, qgis 1.9.0 Alpha on Windows XP crashes when using style capabilities.
One case-
load a postgis layer
attempt to load a qml style
qgis crashes
I will attach a file from Debugview.
And this copy from "about"
