Drop shadow in draw effects in layer rendering does not maintain colour if background is changed in print layout

Description
I have noticed that the colour you choose for the drop shadow in draw effects is not maintained if you change the background colour in map view.
I have attached a gif which should hopefully help explain the issue.

- Resolution set to invalid
- Status changed from Open to Rejected
Change the shadow blend mode from "multiply" to "normal"
