Browser panel does not show same folder icons in two different user profiles

Description

I run QGIS with the default user profile and the Browser panel shouw some colourful icons for drives and Project Home.
From that instance, I launch another user profile and it turns that folders do not have same icons (see the screenshot).
Any idea what could be behind this difference: bug or something i miss with user profile things?

Should be fixed in master -- we use custom icons now.
