Description
Please my open street map is being covered by a green surface that prevents the map from being clear. The problem started towards the end of January 2018 and still persist till now. I was using QGIS version 2.18.9 when I started experiencing the issue, but later upgraded to the new version of 2.18.16, thinking that the issue will be solved, but it still persist. I have gone to QGIS setting to see if I can solve the problem but all my efforts were to no avail. In addition to this, I can no longer be able to use open street as my base map. Please I need serious help with regards to this issue.

How are you adding openstreetmap? Via a plugin?

Yes I do add my open street map via 'OpenLayers Plugin'

- Resolution changed from wontfix to invalid
- Status changed from Open to Closed
You'll need to file this bug with the plugin. It's a third party plugin, not connected with the qgis project.
I'd suggest using the Quickmapservices plugin as an alternative.

Alright, I have installed the 'Quickmapservices' plugin and it is okay. I will then file the bug with regards to the previous plugin. Thanks so much.
