Description
I have found Statistics by categories to be very useful.
One of my use cases is to get a count of features grouped by attribute, and this is currently not possible if there are no numerical attributes.
A very useful enhancement would be to make the Field to calculate statistics on optional.

In the pull request Field to calculate statistics on is made optional and values are set to 0 if no field is specified.
This results in a table with 0 or nan values in all the statistics columns except for count.
