Description
User-input metadata (Title, abstract, etc.) are saved in the project only. IMHO they should be saved in the style as well, to make them portable along with the layer.

We should consider renaming style to "layer definition".
I see the benefit of portable layer information but it doesn't fit to the term style for me.

Indeed, these information are saved in exported QLR, but not in exported QML. They should, regardless of the "style" vocabulary used inside QGIS to speak about "layer configurations".

Still true for QGIS 3.
