Description
I am using version QGis 1.8 Lisboa, under Ubuntu 12.04.
When I try to save a shapefile as spatialite (right click on layer or via Layer menu), the float fields are truncated.
See data attached.

It just affects 1.8.0 that hasn't backports. Closing this issue.
