projection dialog: selecting crs from recent crss broken

Description
in RC1 (29th of may) freshly compiled the projection dialog seems broken.
if you create a new project, and enable the otf-projection checkbox to enable both crs-lists. Only the lower list is really enabled. That is: selecting a crs from the 'recent' list does NOT select it (not showing up in the proj-string textbox on the bottom, AND not setting as project crs)
