Description

If I want to add more than one layer from WMS server, I have to allways to do GetCapabilities (Connect) first. Better would be to remember last GetCapabilities response during entire work seesion (only when QGIS is running) and get new response only on users request (click on "Connect" button).

As multiple selected layers are added to QGIS as single layer, it's common use case to add single/multiple WMS layers from one service to project during QGIS work session. That allows to use QGIS for layer management (On/Off, order). Having some QGIS work session based capabilities cache would be a good thing.
Reopening, as it's usefull feature. Also it was incorrectly closed as "Fixed" instead of "Wontfix".
