Bug report #19499

problem with singleband pseudocolor raster and multiple map views

Added by Andrew McAninch about 2 years ago. Updated over 1 year ago.

Affected QGIS version:3.2.1 Regression?:No
Operating System:Windows 7 Easy fix?:No
Pull Request or Patch supplied:No Resolution:no timely feedback
Crashes QGIS or corrupts data:No Copied to github as #:27327

If I have a raster symbology set to singleband pseudocolor and the statistics extent set to "updated canvas", when I open an addition map view the CPU use gets high, QGIS get slow and in the layer styling dock I can see the min/max values and the classification ramp switching back and forth between the min/max of the main canvas and the second map view. If the symbology is set to singleband grey then everything behaves as expected.
