Description
Selecting vertices with the new node tool can be made using a clic and drag rectangle and shift / ctrl modifier keys.
For big geometries, allowing to select all vertices between two places would be a big enhancement. Mapinfo has such a behavior.
Ergonomy still needs discussions, it could be:
- additional modifier keys to select first and second point + a key to change the rotation direction for polygons
- add a contextual menu with documented actions ( display node editor / select first point / select last point) . This has the advantage of letting user see the key shortcuts and learn them more easily.
