Description
Currently, QGIS-GDAL seems to be only able to display rasters that are stored in the database as it displays a black image for PostGIS Out-DB rasters as described in my post in the link below:
http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/QGIS-GDAL-OUT-DB-RASTER-SUPPORT-td5318735.html
Please, I wanted to find out if there is any ongoing work towards providing GDAL support for PostGIS Out-DB rasters or any way to make QGIS display PostGIS Out-DB rasters.

The question has been made in the list, the tracker is suited for bug reports and specific feature requests. Once you get feedback (if is either a problem in qgis or in gdal) you may want to file a specific feature request here. Anyway you may also want to search the bug tracker first and you'll find that we have issues with postgis raster, in or out the database, but apparently things are better in qgis master, you may want to give it a try too.
