Make symbol_color available in field calculator context

Description

Someone was looking to a way to fill layer attributes table with the current color of the symbol. And it happens that while it's possible to label features using symbol_color variable, that variable is not available in attribute table context to do that. He thus needed to build a custom python function.
Would that be possible to have this variable in attribute table context?
