Description
A number of scripts rely on zero-width character(s) (Indic-based scripts, Arabic, etc.), which triggers a failure in the PAL curved placement code.
I've stumbled on this on qgis master (what will become 3.0), shocked I haven't spotted this before now.
PR coming in an instant.
