SVG Path(s) continuously increasing duplicates

Description
Every time the option pannel is open the original set
of svg paths is duplicated so that you easely end
with dozens of duplicated paths.
Step to reproduce:
Open QGIS - Settings - Options
select "System" tab and say you have two
SVG Paths in the list
close Options
reopen Settings Options: now you will have 4 SVG Paths
and this goes on and on every time you open Options( 6, 8, 10 ...)
I Think this can lead to sluggish performance using any svg simbol.

Does not happen anymore in 2.18(.4).
