Description
There is an option in 2.8 to allow NULL values within the Edit Widget properties for Date/Time.
However if this option is selected this does not change the behaviour and default remains 2000-01-01. There appears not to be a way to set to NULL on form screen when using the calendar pop-up or otherwise.
Ideal solution would be for the default to be null, and a button on the calendar widget to set to NULL.

Hi,
I cannot confirm this. If the "allow NULL" option is active then the default value (when attribute form shows) is NULL. Is is also possible to "clean" a date attribute/column (with the date/time widget) by clicking the symbol (x) of the right of the cell/attribute form field.
