Description
Hello qgis developer team.
First of all: Thanks for the great work! I use qgis for one year now and it is awesome!
I would like to suggest to create a tool that enables users to define relative distances from objects like the legend, north-arrow or scalebar to the margins of their map. I normally align the legend to the corner on the right bottom where the legend is 2 px away from the boarders of the map.
If I add a new item to the legend, the legend gets bigger and I have to align it again. To give the legend a relative position independently from the legends size would be very favourable (tell qgis to always align the legend in the corner on the right bottom with a distance of 2 px). Than I could define one layout and make several maps with the same map composer without readjusting those items all over again. This would really save users time and make layout automation feasible!
Best,
joschi
