[mdal][gui] Usability issue with activating/deactivating quantities

Description
Currently the General tab under Mesh layer looks like Figure 1. This is not a common way of turning layers on/off under groups.
I suggest turning the icons to radio buttons and re-arrange the Groups (Figure 2).
