Greetings,
Since feature count has already good features (filtered by atlas or by the current map extent) I was hoping there was a way to extend this element to attributes of a layer.
For example with a categorical layer, it would be a great asset to have the total area of each category of feature present in the current extent.
I'm not sure if the current code only counts features or if there is an index of feature IDs within the current extent that could be generated to simply sum by categories.
