Make status bar into two toolbars with controls as tb widgets

Description
If you are running Qgis on screens at 1000 or perhaps much less than 1600 pixels the status bar will be too cramped and can't read the labels on it.
Preferably the status bar could be changed into a couple of toolbars that can be dragged or customised as needed.
