Design Advisor: Anita Graser

Nominated by: Tim Sutton, Aug 3, 2013
Status: Accepted

Anita has been a long term presence in the QGIS project community. Her constant stream of input and support on the mailing lists and forums have been a great asset to the community. Anita has a great sense of aesthetic which is evident in her regular blog posts design related contributions she has made to the community. This sense of aesthetic, her long term involvement in the community and her in-depth knowledge of QGIS make her in my mind a great choice for the position of Design Advisor.

Infrastructure Manager: Richard Duivenvoorde

Nominated by: Otto Dassau, Aug 9, 2013
Status: Accepted

Richard has played an active role in the project for several years and is interested and involed in many areas of the project. He has already a good overview of most of our infrastructure and is experienced with many of the tools that we use. I am sure he would be able to manage and oversee what the project needs. And in my opinion his personality, his ideas about QGIS and open source would fit in very well with the current PSC. For these reasons, I nominate Richard Duivenvoorde to be the new Infrastructure Manager.

Jürgen has in-depth knowledge of QGIS and has devoted a mammoth amount of time and energy into the project during the 5.5+ years that he has been active in the community. Júrgen is intimately familiar with the technical requirements needed to manage the process of putting out QGIS releases. His attention to detail and dedication to the production of great quality software will make him a natural fit for this position and ensure the continuity of the project into the future. For these and many more reasons, I nominate him to be the next release manager.
