DEM We can download it from various sources, I am from México i can download it from http://www.inegi.org.mx/geo/contenidos/datosrelieve/continental/Descarga.aspx

Shape file line We can digitize it

Shape file polygon Geology We can download geology maps of México from
http://mapserver.sgm.gob.mx/cartas_impresas/productos/cartas.html
as it is a pdf file we can convert it with GIMP to any format (jpg, tif, png)
and after that, georeference it
