1. QGIS Bughunting in Moscow 2009

Purpose

Get together everyone interested in QGIS to pay some time back to this wonderful project. Meeting was targeted at both developers and users and the goals were:

  • Find as many bugs as possible
  • Let people have a try with QGIS when someone more experienced is around to help
  • Have a general discussion and see what new people are thinking of QGIS and if they have any plans related to its use

Organization

Meeting was organized by GIS-Lab.info, informal, non-commercial community of GIS and RS specialists in Russia. Though the community as a whole tries not to advocate any specific type of GIS software, a lot of effort goes to free/opensource once.

Meeting was simultaneously held in person and via IRC for those who cannot afford travel. Meeting in person was translated via USTREAM.tv
