Individual Preparation

  • Bring your own computer (and power supply!). Better with a power bar, "compatible plug" and long cable, and ethernet cable (we'll provide wifi, but better you have a cable, too).
  • Install git and the compiler tools, and come with a working QGIS development environment if possible.

Fun Run/Walk

Do you like running up and down the mountain? Taking advantage of the Monastery location (venue of the Hackfest meeting), located in the beautiful valley of Sant Daniel, we are planning to organize a trail running activity.

Depending on the preferences of the runners, we can organize a soft or a moderate trail run activity, to get to the nearest summits (around 350/500 meters of positive elevation gain) and getting nice views from the city and the surrounding landscape. If you are interested in participating in this activity, please register below, and write down your preferences:

# Participant Preferences
1 Tim Sutton moderate trail running
2 Joana Simoes light trail running
3 João Gaspar moderate trail running

  • Is the QGIS Hackfest for developers only?
    • No: anybody can help, with testing, checking out bugs and fixes, documentation and more.
  • Where can I get help and more information about the hackfest?
