Redmine Feature request #21989 (Open): [processing][xyz tiles]Allow option to export tiles to XYZ and mb...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/219892019-05-03T12:30:26ZSaber Razmjooeisaber.razmjooei@lutraconsulting.co.uk

Currently, user can only choose one option
Feature request #20452 (Open): "Offset point symbols" should use a widget like "rotate features" ...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/204522018-11-11T13:54:45ZHarrissou Santanna

For consistency with other digitizing tools and practicability, it would be nice that the "offset point symbols" tool use an input widget in which you can enter/see the x and y offset values.
Feature request #18738 (Open): Very slow geometry/topology fixhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/187382018-04-17T11:59:44ZAntoine Lafranchisantlafranchis@gmail.com

The "fix with default action" function of the Geometry checker is very slow for large shapefiles (6500 polygons). Apparently it checks for new errors after every fix which takes a very long time (more than 12 hours in total). For comparison, the initial check of the whole shapefile only takes 3-4 minutes. Maybe the automatic re-check could be optional?
Feature request #15108 (Open): "Pretty Break" for raster stylinghttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/151082016-06-22T01:35:58ZKyle Somerville

It would be useful to have a "pretty break" option (identical to that available for vector styling) when styling rasters with color maps, as a quick solution to manually setting minima and maxima and using equal interval banding.
Feature request #13901 (Open): "Add Circular String" is not deactivatable by Settings > Customiza...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/139012015-11-29T07:17:23ZThomas NogatzTN295@arcor.de

A possibility to deactivate the "Add Circular String" Button would be fine. Cannot find it in Settings > Customization > Toolbars > mDigitizeToolBar.
Feature request #11729 (Open): show thumbnailshttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/117292014-11-25T04:13:13ZTom Kralidis

Some csw services (for example geonetwork based ones) provide a thumbnail for some layers, for example wms layers.

For example using this csw:

http://www.nationaalgeoregister.nl/geonetwork/srv/eng/csw?request=GetCapabilities&service=CSW&version=2.0.2

searching for 'rce' and getting record info for 'Rijksmonumenten' will show you a link '
image/png' which is a thumbnail link to:
http://services.rce.geovoorziening.nl/www/PreviewRijksmonumentenKlein200x150.png

it would be nice to show it it somewhere...
Feature request #11491 (Open): When using data defined colors the map legend shows always a blac...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/114912014-10-24T03:04:07ZFabien Cerbelaudfabien.cerbelaud@unilim.fr

Hi,
When I used a fields with color attribute to define colors in source of propertie definition for a thematic analysis the color is ok on the map but there is no color in legend. The color provides from a csv file joined with my shapefile. The problem still exist in map composer.
Feature request #11040 (Open): "Handle bad layers" window : be able to change the data providerhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/110402014-08-12T00:41:07ZHarrissou Santanna

The "Handle bad layers" window shows for the missing layers their data provider.

I've for long time worked with shapefiles or .TAB files and now I'm moving all my data structure to postGIS provider. It means that I need to change the data used in most of my projects.
As it is now possible to indicate database's tables in the "Handle bad layers" window, I'm wondering if it won't be cool to be able to replace OGR files by POSTGIS (or another provider) ones, which means that the user provides not only the valid data source but also (if needed) choose which type of data provider might be used for the new layer.
Feature request #9043 (Open): "No data" in multi-band datahttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/90432013-11-11T03:44:56ZJonathan Moules

I'm going to put this as a "feature request" though it might be considered a bug.

I have three band raster data. On the "transparency" page I've set "0" to be "no data". The problem is, if even one of the three bands has a "0", QGIS renders the entire pixel as being "no data". As such I get entire fields filled with "no data" speckles because a single band (red) is often 0.

I'd suggest allowing the user to set "no data" on a per-band basis or requiring that all symbolised pixels be no data before rendering as no-data.
Feature request #7898 (Open): New Vector Layer Windowhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/78982013-05-25T01:42:26ZHarish Solankiharry.om2000@gmail.com

In Vector files;
1) I request that Alias and Comment option for Attributes in Vector layers should be kept at New Vector Layer window also.
2) Name of the file to be created can also be kept at this window because sometimes new users are not able to distinguish file-name and attribute names. One step can also be reduced in this way.
Feature request #7094 (Open): "All support formats" file open optionhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/70942013-02-04T07:28:06ZJonathan Moules

Currently when opening a file, be it vector, raster, or style, the file-open dialog has only allows one supported filetype to be shown at once.
I.e. When opening a style, you can via either *.qml or *.sld, but not simultaneously.

What QGIS should do (and ArcGIS and MS Excel both do this) is have a default option which is "All supported formats". In the case of Styles it would show both QML and SLD at the same time. In the case of rasters or vectors it would show applicable formats that QGIS supports.

If the user wants to only see one specific format (i.e. .shp), they can still select it from the drop-down menu.

Note: This is different from "All Formats" - which shows formats that are unsupported too.
Feature request #6587 (Open): "Current Visible Extent" for Raster calculatorhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/65872012-10-31T02:15:44ZJonathan Moules

The Raster Calculator has a "current layer extent" button to allow easy creation of correctly sized rasters.

My suggestion is to add another button: "Current Visible Extent" which when clicked will fill in the bounds etc for the current visible extent.
Feature request #6248 (Open): "Recently Used" folder for SVG symbols.https://issues.qgis.org/issues/62482012-08-24T18:35:35Zcgsbob -

It would be cool if the hierarchic organization of SVG symbols includes a folder called "Recently Used" (which has the same hierarchy as the svg folder) and have that folder opened by default. We have something like this with the projection selector.
Feature request #2241 (Open): "Node tool" should remember last feature which it was used on after...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/22412009-12-09T23:53:14ZMaxim Dubininsim@gis-lab.info

Any layer

Start editing, select editing nodes tool, click on object - nodes show up

Switch to zoom - nodes disappear

So need to zoom, select tool, click on object, zoom ....etc. Rather inconvinient!

Note that if object is selected, nodes don't dissappear, so may be we need to select object when clicked with node editing tool, so navigating will note loose node view.
Feature request #1828 (Open): "For in the field" modehttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/18282009-07-31T04:37:19Zalobo -aloboaleu@gmail.com

Create "For in the field" mode and "For in the office" mode by
defining sets of keyboard shortcuts and other interactive
qgis behavior. The user could create his/her own modes by
modifying these sets.

"For in the field" mode should make minimal use of the mouse.
