Redmine Bug report #21359 (Open): Popped Out Panels Can't be Re-docked https://issues.qgis.org/issues/213592019-02-23T19:04:29ZKonrad Lawsonregs@huginn.net

Click the small icon with multiple windows at the top left of any visible panel. This "pops out" the panel to make it a floating window.

If you immediately double click the title bar of the popped out window, it will be docked again. Fine.

However, if you close the panel window (because double-clicking on the title bar is not at all an obvious way to re-dock a window, at least on OSX) and then re-open the panel, double-clicking the panel window now zooms it to full screen rather than re-docking the window.

As far as I can see there is no way to get the floating window back into its docked position within the main window thereafter.
Bug report #21342 (Open): Can't visualize jpg files on Windowshttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/213422019-02-21T19:09:32ZMattia Fabbrimattiafbb@gmail.com

Hello everybody,

I'm running the Qgis version 3.4.4, but I had the same problem with 3.4.1, on a Core i5 with Windows 10 system.

When i try to open a .jpg file as a vector or in the georeferencer, all i got is these kind of images (depending on the zoom) you can see below:

It's really hard to read the comments in the functions in the Expression function editor tab, due to its yellowed color on white background.
See attached screenshot
Bug report #20776 (Open): Symmetric classification collapsible group in symbology --> graduated r...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/207762018-12-11T15:22:16ZHarrissou Santanna

Vector layer properties --> graduated symbology
At the bottom of the dialog, check uncheck the symmetric classification group box combined with the Mode option and you get sometimes a group with both text edit and combobox visible while they are mutually exclusive.
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/8290 should fix (though untested)
Bug report #20773 (Open): QGIS freezes on loading messagehttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/207732018-12-11T13:04:58ZHarrissou Santanna

Now that the "identify features" freeze has gone away, it's the "loading file" report message that decides to block the project closure. Unable to close properly the project file or cancel the rendering. However afaict the tools seem to work, map canvas is responsive.
Issue occurs only when you want to close QGIS.
Bug report #20637 (Open): Vertex Tool: Please make the "Current Layer" the defaulthttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/206372018-11-27T07:15:25ZBurghardt Scholleburghardt.scholle@stadt.wolfsburg.de

If you toggle to the edit mode, the option "all layers" is switched on by default at the moment. With this setting, both clueless and experienced users can very quickly ruin their data. How fast did you accidentally move or delete nodes from other layers in this setting? Therefore, IMHO the default setting of "current layer" in the vertex tool is preferable.
Bug report #19237 (Open): The "Split Features" tool does not maintain the M values of each point ...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/192372018-06-21T17:44:58ZJorge Almarazjalmmor@gmail.com

when i split a line which have already attribute defined, default values which i assigned to a postgis layer are added to one of its segment.
Bug report #19019 (Open): Toolbars reorganisation is not saved when QGIS is closedhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/190192018-05-24T08:51:05ZHarrissou Santanna

I have many toolbars enabled in QGIS and I reorganize them so that from four rows by default, I only have two rows of tools (hence, more place for map canvas). But each time i open QGIS, the toolbars are moved back to the four rows placement instead of staying where i placed them. Very annoying!
Bug report #18580 (Open): Value Relation and Relation reference widget: Entries are sorted althou...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/185802018-03-29T13:42:53ZManuel K

Value Relation and Relation reference widget:

Entries are sorted alphabetically although the option "Order by value" is NOT checked

QGIS should take the order of the entries unchanged from the database if "Order by value" is NOT checked.

Data Source: PostGIS
Bug report #18322 (Open): Zooming in causes canvas to go blankhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/183222018-03-03T15:02:27ZPatrick Dunfordenzedrailmaps@gmail.com

I just started using a project in Qgis 3 and it has some raster images loaded in the background. Quite often when I zoom in, the canvas goes completely blank and never redraws. This behaviour has never been seen in 2.18
Bug report #15009 (Open): Customization dialog: (un)checking a level in the tree doesn't (un)chec...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/150092016-06-12T06:20:33ZHarrissou Santanna

I don't know if it is a bug report or a feature request
In the Customization dialog, (un)checking an item in the tree doesn't (un)check children items. it's weird to have to (un)check one by one given there's a tree structure (and that children are actually (un)checked - true if none of the children has bee directly changed).
This can also be used as shortcut to check only few children instead of having to uncheck the several other to-be-hidden children. Wonder if i'm clear...
Having this synchronous behavior will ease the understanding of the changes being done, imo.
Bug report #13885 (Open): Rephrase the option "Select at ID" and make it easier to findhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/138852015-11-26T06:53:58ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

The "Select at id" option in loading PostGIS layers doesn't really tell the user much. It would be better to rephrase it in something like "Cache locally".
BTW, the option is rather hidden, and not available when (as it happens more and more often) the layer is loaded through the Browser. Probably we should make it available there.
Bug report #12398 (Open): Wrong sort order in symbol sharinghttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/123982015-03-18T09:01:25ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it
When exporting or importing symbols from the Style manager, symbols are sorted according to type (lines, pints etc.). The order is however wrong:

points and fills are mixed up

points should go before lines

custom (user created) lines go mixed among points and fills

Bug report #8020 (Open): Do not list MBR as tables in Oraclehttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/80202013-06-06T23:13:09ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

In the listing of tables, indices (MBR) are displayed as geometry tables; this is confusing, if possible better avoiding it
