Redmine Bug report #11517 (Closed): Size restrictions of custom forms created in Qt Designer not honoredhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/115172014-10-28T08:57:18ZRoi Hojgaardrh@fds.fo

Dear developers.

No matter which "sizePolicy" settings I choose for the forms I create in Qt Designer, the forms get more or less random size in QGIS (both in 2.4 and nightly dev). Even if "sizePolicy" is "Fixed", the size can still be freely changed in QGIS.

To create custom forms in Qt Designer is an extremely cool feature, IMHO. But with the size settings not honored, the forms will look amateurish, if implemented in our clients GIS environment.

Please fix for 2.6. Thanks.

Our QGIS runs on windows 7 64 bit; PostgreSQL 9.2.5 and PostGIS 2.0.3 are running on CentOS 6.5 Final 64 bit.
Bug report #11266 (Closed): Relations "Subforms" - delete records in form viewhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/112662014-09-24T09:04:29ZPedro VenĂ¢nciopedrongvenancio@gmail.com

Dear Mr/Ms.
I have develop an QGIS application based on 2.0 version. I use postgresql 9.3 as my database. Now I met an problem how to deploy it. Can you give me a manual as a reference?
Thank you!
Bug report #10537 (Closed): Converting offline twice within the same instance causing unusable of...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/105372014-06-10T08:58:23ZDrew Nix

Problem Description:
Converting offline twice within the same running project instance causes unusable offline state.

Problem Result:
After which the "Convert to Offline Project" is grayed out. The project will no longer synchronize and the project is stuck in an Offline State.

If the project is saved, upon opening the same scenario applies.

The only fix to this is to open the project file in a text editor and delete the offline information and save the file. This is impossible for most of our users.

Steps to reproduce:
Open Qgis
Add PostGIS vector layer
Database > Offline Editing > Convert to Offline Project
Offline data: C:/OSGEO4W/bin/offline.sqlite
Select PostGIS vector layer
Database > Offline Editing > Syncronize
Database > Offline Editing > Convert to Offline Project
Offline data: C:/OSGEO4W/bin/offline.sqlite (Same dataset)

Proxy settings are ignored when trying to add a vector layer that is on the web, ie:

http://geonb.snb.ca/ArcGIS/rest/services/GeoNB_ENV_Flood/MapServer/3/query?text=0&geometry=&geometryType=esriGeometryEnvelope&inSR=&spatialRel=esriSpatialRelIntersects&where=&returnGeometry=true&outSR=&outFields=&f=pjson

If I use a direct connection to the internet, this works fine. But I've watched my proxy server while trying with the proxy settings, and I've seen no activity by QGIS.

In qgsmapcanvas.cpp in QgsMapCanvas::setLayerSet a disconnect and connect call to selectionChanged signal are being made on the map layer set, but some of those layers can be raster layers. selectionChanged() is a signal that only vector layers can emit.

This bug causes warning messages to appear when calling setLayerSet via the python bindings with a layer set that contains rasters.

The solution is to wrap the disconnect and connect calls with logic to test if the layer is a vector layer.
Bug report #800 (Closed): 'Search' in on the fly projection dialogue missplacedhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/8002007-11-10T23:57:48ZMaciej Sieczka -tutey@o2.pl

Hi,

it appears that QGIS fails to recognize NAD83 / North Carolina LCC:

The reason will be that the EPSG definition in PROJ4 is this:

# NAD83(HARN) / North Carolina
<3358> +proj=lcc +lat_1=36.16666666666666 +lat_2=34.33333333333334 +lat_0=33.75 +lon_0=-79 +x_0=609601.22 +y_0=0 +ellps=GRS80 +units=m +no_defs <>

Note that the values of lat_1 and lat_2 are reverted. I was told by Frank W. that this is legal (to my shame I already submitted a bug report to EPSG). It would be good if QGIS accepted the reverted lat_1 and lat_2, too.

Maciek
Bug report #556 (Closed): Field should be Layer in GRASS lingohttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/5562007-01-30T00:47:07ZRedmine Admin

0.8 SVN 6453

Please update all the occurences of "Field" term in relation to GRASS vectors to "Layer". These are two same things, but Field has been replaced by Layer many months ago in GRASS.

Things to update are, AFAIK:

1. GRASS Edit's attribute editor still mentions "Field"

2. GRASS Edit's "Table" tab mentions "Field (layer)"
