Redmine Feature request #21991 (Closed): [processing][xyz tiles] html-template-filehttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/219912019-05-03T12:34:52ZSaber Razmjooeisaber.razmjooei@lutraconsulting.co.uk

Add html file to view tiles.
Bug report #14827 (Closed): Resize 'Simple layer type' drop-down menuhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/148272016-05-16T07:35:43ZR. R.inactive@the-moment.org

Please resize the 'Simple layer type' drop-down menu in the 'Layer properties' dialog. 'Outline: Simple line' should be available without scrolling. Seems this is a Windows related issue (see attached screenshots).
Bug report #14694 (Closed): DB Manager: F5 not workinghttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/146942016-04-15T20:19:54ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

n the DB Manager SQL window, pressing Execute correctly run the query,
whereas F5 does not.
Bug report #12931 (Closed): "Calendar popup" Not Populating If Today is Clickedhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/129312015-06-10T04:57:26ZDarren Copedarrencope+osgeo@gmail.com

Using a date field, setting the Edit widget to Date/Time, and enabling the 'calendar popup' widget, I am unable to click the currently selected date (highlighted in blue on the calendar widget) and have the date populated in the field. This becomes an issue when wanting to enter "today" which is the default selected date in the popup. To enter today, I must click a different day (to select it in blue) and then go back and click the current date.

I also noticed that using the calendar popup will enter a time if the field is set as Date/Time, but the time will not update after choosing a different date in the widget (ie. time only updates on the initial date/time entry using the widget.)
Bug report #6186 (Closed): "Build pyramids internally if possible" implies that if not possible, ...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/61862012-08-12T19:53:51ZAlister Hood

Load a jpeg into QGIS.
Right-click the jpeg layer in the TOC.
Choose Properties>Pyramids.
Select the option "Build pyramids internally if possible".
Select a pyramid resolution and click the "build pyramids" button.
You will get an error message: "The file was not writable. Some formats do not support pyramid overviews. Consult the GDAL documentation if in doubt."

An option to "build pyramids internally if possible" implies that if that isn't possible they will be built externally. Either QGIS should automatically build the pyramids externally instead of showing the error message, or the option should be renamed to simply "Build pyramids internally".
Bug report #5616 (Closed): "Add" button is enabled when no PostGIS layers are selectedhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/56162012-05-17T22:24:26ZMike Taves

In the "Add PostGIS Table(s)" dialog, when no layers are selected, the "Add" button is enabled. Clicking this button shows an information dialog:

You must select a table in order to add a layer.

Although this is all logical at a basic level, it could be confusing to the user. Particularly if they had already selected a layer, then double-clicked it to build a query, and the layer became unselected. The "Add" button should only be enabled when there are greater than zero layers selected, otherwise it should be disabled.

As a minor touch-up, the dialog does not list PostGIS "tables", rather they are layers (as the pop-up text shows for the icon). These can be any number of combinations of tables and/or views with one or more geometry/geography columns .. or simply put, layers.
Bug report #3762 (Closed): "Cancel" does not revert a change between new and old symbologyhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/37622011-04-20T02:59:51ZAlister Hood

(I'm setting this as "minor" since it isn't very important and the old symbology will be dropped soon I think. But I thought it should be reported anyway, just to be thorough.)

open the Layer Properties for a vector layer

click the button to switch between Old and New Symbology

click "Yes"

click "Cancel"

open the Layer Properties again: the symbology is still set to what it was after step

But when "Cancel" was clicked a normal user would have expected it to have reverted back to what it was originally.

FWIW I'm running r15740
Bug report #3761 (Closed): "Cancel" button in Symbol properties dialogue has the same effect as "...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/37612011-04-20T02:46:59ZAlister Hood

open the layer properties for a vector layer

click the "Change" button on the left hand side of the window. This opens the Symbol properties dialogue

change something (e.g. click the + button to add a symbol layer)

click "Cancel"

click the "Change" button again: you will see that the changes you made last time have been applied (e.g. the new symbol layer is still there), even though you clicked "Cancel".

FWIW I'm running r15740
Bug report #1315 (Closed): "Actions" in qgis do not work on MS windowshttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/13152008-09-15T00:46:31Zrap -rap@foo.bar

qGIS (0.11/windows) crashes if you want to use actions (e. g. to link images or websites)

This problem only occure on the windows version, on ubuntu actions seems to work properly.

Original Task: link photos to point shape files using "actions".

An action is defined: calling "firefox" as action
The Identify Feature is used to open the identify window
A click on the action is used to define the action...

result: qgis crashes

I had lot of large map tiles as separate files. I wanted to manage all of them as single layer. Groups are handy, but not when I need to manually create one, and manually add all of it's layers.

When I add more than one data source at once, I would like to have an option to add all of selected files to some new group, as moving around single files is not as usable as dealing with groups.
Bug report #339 (Closed): "Cannot find translate" or segfaulthttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/3392006-10-10T11:25:55ZRedmine Admin

1. add a raster map (find the attached, but it is reproducible with any)
2. Print Composer
3. size: A4, orientation: portrait
4. add new map
5. print to eps
6. error: "Cannot find translate"

Sometimes it segfaults instead.

The output eps is empty.
