In QGIS master the "default value" for a field is not applied when pasting a new feature.

It works ok (as usual) for new digitized features.

Does not affects 3.4.4

Steps:

1) set a default value for a field of a vector

2) digitize a new feature, do not fill the column where the default was set > default is applied

3) copy a feature from another layer and paste it in the layer with the default (the source layer must not have a filled field that can possibly fill the equivalent field in the target layer) > default is not applied
Bug report #20001 (Closed): "vector" menu is empty when QGIS is localized in Italianhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/200012018-10-03T09:03:26Zmarianna ronconimarianna.ronconi@gmail.com

The "Zoom to Feature" action in the attribute table is not working as I would expect. If I:

- Create a SQL layer from a spatialite data source
- Select "Open attribute table..." for this layer
- Create a field filter
- Search for a particular value
- Right click on the result row and select "Zoom to feature"

...then QGIS reports "Zoom to feature id failed: Feature not found".

The feature exists (I'm looking at it in the attribute table). The feature has a unique id, and the corresponding column is identified as the unique id column.
Bug report #19748 (Closed): "Acceleration" label added in Options dialog titlehttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/197482018-09-01T15:23:36ZHarrissou Santanna

I can't tell what triggers this nor when it happened by i have "Acceleration" label added to the Options dialog title, regardless the enabled tab.
This is a regression in 2.18 as the scenario I'm about to describe works flawlessly in QGIS Server 2.14.

Let's use only QGIS Server here, but the source of our external WFS layers could be any WFS service.

1) Create a QGIS project
2) Add a WFS layer from a whatever service
3) Configure the OWS properties of the project in order to allow it be used to publish OGC services. Be sure to enable the WFS capabilities for the just added external WFS layer
4) Save the project
5) Put the project somewhere (server or local machine) where it can be published with QGIS Server
6) In a clean QGIS project create a WMS or WFS connection pointing to the service created with the project saved previously
7) Try add as WMS or WFS the layer that originally we added from an external WFS service

If used QGIS Server is 2.14 it works ok 100% of time, if is 2.18 then most of the times the retrieval of images (WMS) or features (WFS) fail. Scrolling/zooming/panning makes sometimes the images/features show, but most of the times it does not work.
Bug report #17392 (Closed): Additional Certification Authorities are ignored when connecting to p...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/173922017-11-03T09:58:55ZAlessandro Pasotti

See attached failing test.

When connecting to PG the provider does not add trusted CAs to the connection and ignores the QGIS certificate manager altogether.

This issue does not arise with PKI-based auth methods because they do add trusted CAs to the connection.

Proposed implementation: PG provider should add trusted CAs to the connection even if/when no authentication method is used, a check on the SSL-mode connection configuration can probably be used to determine if the trusted CAs must be added (i.e. always add unless == 'disable').
As an alternative, a checkbox to add add trusted CAs to the connection could be added to PG configuration dialog.

In qgsmapcanvas.cpp in QgsMapCanvas::setLayerSet a disconnect and connect call to selectionChanged signal are being made on the map layer set, but some of those layers can be raster layers. selectionChanged() is a signal that only vector layers can emit.

This bug causes warning messages to appear when calling setLayerSet via the python bindings with a layer set that contains rasters.

The solution is to wrap the disconnect and connect calls with logic to test if the layer is a vector layer.
Bug report #800 (Closed): 'Search' in on the fly projection dialogue missplacedhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/8002007-11-10T23:57:48ZMaciej Sieczka -tutey@o2.pl

Hi,

it appears that QGIS fails to recognize NAD83 / North Carolina LCC:

The reason will be that the EPSG definition in PROJ4 is this:

# NAD83(HARN) / North Carolina
<3358> +proj=lcc +lat_1=36.16666666666666 +lat_2=34.33333333333334 +lat_0=33.75 +lon_0=-79 +x_0=609601.22 +y_0=0 +ellps=GRS80 +units=m +no_defs <>

Note that the values of lat_1 and lat_2 are reverted. I was told by Frank W. that this is legal (to my shame I already submitted a bug report to EPSG). It would be good if QGIS accepted the reverted lat_1 and lat_2, too.

Maciek
Bug report #556 (Closed): Field should be Layer in GRASS lingohttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/5562007-01-30T00:47:07ZRedmine Admin

0.8 SVN 6453

Please update all the occurences of "Field" term in relation to GRASS vectors to "Layer". These are two same things, but Field has been replaced by Layer many months ago in GRASS.

Things to update are, AFAIK:

1. GRASS Edit's attribute editor still mentions "Field"

2. GRASS Edit's "Table" tab mentions "Field (layer)"
