Redmine QGIS Application - Bug report #6390 (Open): Size of bar on canvas: weird behaviourhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/63902012-09-21T08:14:16ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

The View>Decorations>Scale bar>Size of bar has a strange behaviour. It allows you to change the length of the scale bar, but it is strangely limited to two digits and will get reset if the value is not judged in the good range.
Try to input a value like 40 and zoom until 40m would be considered an acceptable value. There will be a few level of zoom where the bar is set to 40m. Once you zoom in or zoom out too far, it will get calculated as usual.
QGIS Application - Bug report #6332 (Open): WCS: the button to cancel download does nothinghttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/63322012-09-11T04:46:21ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

One is forced to kill QGIS in this case
QGIS Application - Bug report #5232 (Open): "add direction symbol" does not work with curved labelshttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/52322012-03-25T22:33:24ZGiovanni Manghigiovanni.manghi@gmail.com

Subject says it all. If I switch to "parallel", it shows fine. Tested on 1.7.4 and master.
QGIS Plugin Site - Bug report #4879 (Reopened): Planet not updatedhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/48792012-01-25T03:35:26ZAlexander Bruy

RSS at http://plugins.qgis.org/planet/ is not updated anymore, while at http://qgis.org/planet it works. Seems one of this should be removed.
QGIS Application - Bug report #4408 (Open): Validating *.qgs or *.qml against *.dtdhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/44082011-10-19T00:29:45ZMarco Lechnermarco.lechner@fossgis.de

It's not possible to validate a QGIS project or style file against the called *.dtd (http://mrcc.com/qgis.dtd). Two reasons: the URL doesn't exist and using a *.dtd from SVN always returns a "non valid". Having the possibility to validate could decrease erroneous project files. As such it's a feature wish, but as long as QGIS mentions a *.dtd not working, it's a bug.
QGIS Application - Bug report #4100 (Open): Text for two CRS dialogues is wrong (swapped)https://issues.qgis.org/issues/41002011-07-19T22:39:46ZAlister Hood

Running trunk, when I have enabled "Settings>Options>CRS>Coordinate Reference System for new layers>Prompt for CRS", if I add a vector layer with no CRS then the dialogue says:
"Specify CRS for layer SOME_FILE_NAME"

When I right-click on a layer and choose "Set layer CRS", even if the layer does have a projection specification, the dialogue says:
"Define this layer's coordinate reference system:
This layer appears to have no projection specification. By default this layer will now have its projection set to that of the project, but you may override this by selecting a different projection below."

These two texts must have been mixed up.
QGIS Application - Bug report #4087 (Open): Split Features tool: lines are split also at every se...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/40872011-07-14T19:15:43Zjcnotter -jcnotter@foo.bar

When you use this function to a location, it splits the polyline at each intersections on the polyline and you get a lot of polylines and not 2 as you want
Example : for separating the return track, you get many little tracks ...
QGIS Application - Bug report #3779 (Open): Symbols are incorrectly cropped in map canvas if rotatedhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/37792011-04-27T02:35:03ZAlister Hood

For a point layer, if I use a rectangle "simple symbol", and specify a rotation, the symbol is rotated in the map canvas, but it also has the corners cut off as if it has been cropped to fit in the area that it would have occupied if it was not rotated.

See attached screenshot (with a symbol dimension of 5m).

This problem does not seem to affect the composer, but note that it has its own bug with rotated symbols (#3778).
QGIS Plugin Site - Bug report #20 (Open): Add a bot to this tracker and the repo to the IRC QGIS ...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/202011-03-04T10:40:41ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

This will help following the activities
QGIS Application - Bug report #3112 (Open): Plugin Offline editing: warn if copying viewshttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/31122010-10-13T23:19:23ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

PostgreSQL views can be synced for offline use, but obviously the syncing back to PostgreSQL fails: I think the user should be warned before copying for offline use.
QGIS Application - Bug report #2113 (Open): curved labels: only a few are drawnhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/21132009-11-18T23:47:25ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

With the new labelling engine, I always get far too few labels when selection the "curved" option. See attached screenshot an sample file.
QGIS Application - Bug report #1893 (Reopened): opening data tables widens the main windowhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/18932009-08-25T05:20:54ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

When opening >=3 tables while in docked mode, the main window becomes very wide, instead of shrinking the space allocated to each table
QGIS Application - Bug report #1796 (Open): Multi-line text in a SVG file is not drawn correctly ...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/17962009-07-20T04:55:18Zcraigleat -craigleat@foo.bar

The attached file is an inkscape SVG containing an A2 titleblock. The multi-line text is drawn on a single line when the SVG is imported into Print Composer.
QGIS Application - Bug report #1585 (Open): add missing svg image sourceshttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/15852009-03-24T01:04:43ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

Most svg images are missing from source code (only derived png are there). Please add them.
QGIS Application - Bug report #1051 (Open): GRASS rasters values/labels are not shown in legend/c...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/10512008-04-28T07:29:56Zroyster -royster@foo.bar

GRASS raster maps load without any error messages. However, the QGIS legend does not list the categories (only the title of the map). On clicking onto the map, the numeric ID of the individual raster cells is displayed in the pop-up window, but not the actual category labels. I have hit this problem with Ubuntu 7.04 and QGIS 0.8, and Markus Neteler has emailed me reporting the same issue with QGIS 0.9.1, tested using the landuse96_28m map from the NC OSGeo standard dataset.
