Redmine QGIS Application - Feature request #22099 (Open): Make Designing forms in QGIS friendlyhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/220992019-05-18T13:58:30ZSaber Razmjooeisaber.razmjooei@lutraconsulting.co.uk

The current way of creating and editing forms in QGIS is not ideal. It has all the great tools/features to built the forms but it can be improved to be a but more user-friendly. Here are some of the areas to improve it:

Having a preview in the form designer

Re-designing the current layout: it is confusing and all options are displayed. Some can be hidden away under advanced options.

Logic based forms: allow attribute to be visible/editable based on the logic from other attributes

Allow simple form design in Form view (when browsing data).

QGIS Application - Feature request #22081 (Open): Add option to zoom to extent of saved bookmark ...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/220812019-05-15T08:20:26ZAdmire Nyakudya

I am using map themes and saving the extent of each map theme as a bookmark. However, when I go to the map
composer I will still need to change the scale to align to the bookmark extent. This is cumbersome when I add multiple maps on the same page
corresponding to a theme. If there was an option to change the extent of a map to align to a bookmark it would make it easier.
QGIS Plugin Site - Feature request #17238 (Open): Add password reset prompt to login, register pageshttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/172382017-10-03T19:47:12ZNathaniel V. Kelso

It wasn't obvious / my password manager didn't know the difference that qgis.org is actually osgeo account system on the backend.

Suggest adding a note to say: "Login with our OSGeo account information: above the login name and password form.

And below the form add a Password reset link (presumably back to some OSGeo property).
QGIS Plugin Site - Feature request #14943 (Open): "download plugin" button goes unnoticedhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/149432016-06-01T04:14:58ZIván Sánchez Ortegaivan@sanchezortega.es

(Moved from https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Django/issues/23 )

In the past few days, I've had a few users in the OSGeo IRC channel ask for help about creating an OSGeo ID account for... downloading qgis plugins.

After double-checking that, indeed, qgis plugins can be downloaded without logging in with an OSGeo ID, I realised something.

The "download this plugin" button is small, and is hidden behind three clicks (plugin info → versions list → last version → download). This is confusing users, making them click on the big "share plugin" ("upload a new plugin") button.

I hereby request a big, fat "download latest version of this plugin" button on every plugin page.
QGIS Plugin Site - Feature request #10302 (Open): Add a filter for "New" plugins to plugins websitehttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/103022014-05-18T05:41:22ZBorys Jurgiel

I would like to be able to sort or filter the plugins website, so that only new plugins would be shown, similar to the links for Featured, All, Stable, etc. in the op left corner.

Ticket moved from <a class="issue tracker-2 status-5 priority-3 priority- closed" href="https://issues.qgis.org/issues/9938" title="Add a filter for "New" plugins to plugins website (Closed)">#9938
Original author of the ticket: https://issues.qgis.org/users/1219
QGIS Plugin Site - Feature request #10125 (Open): Add editor commentshttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/101252014-04-27T22:23:05ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

Approving a plugin is an increasingly complex task. It would be very useful to add a field of comments, visible only to plugin editors, to store info about reasons for non acceptance, etc.
QGIS Redmine (QGIS bug tracker) - Support #9913 (Open): Wrong commit reference syntax when autocl...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/99132014-03-27T10:06:23ZAlexander Bruy

At some point the ability to manage keys for a user vanished. So new users can't upload their ssh key and existing users can't modify theirs. This mean new plugin authors can't store their code on hub, which has been requested. http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/uploading-plugin-files-to-hub-qgis-org-td5107396.html

Did someone remove the Redmine Gitosis plugin or was Gitosis broken on a server update?
Was this server space related?
QGIS Redmine (QGIS bug tracker) - Support #8906 (Open): email notificationshttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/89062013-10-17T23:32:25ZGavin Fleminggavin@kartoza.com

I've missed feedback requests and comments on several QGIS issues I've reported because I don't get email notifications. I've tried various settings in my account but still don't get emails. Do I have to Watch my own issues? Surely I should be default get notifications about any updates to issues I reported?
QGIS Redmine (QGIS bug tracker) - Support #7412 (Open): problem with colorrampmanager plugin git ...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/74122013-03-21T09:21:39ZEtienne Tourigny

when I created the git repository for the colorrampmanager plugin, a
network error occurred and the repository is somehow corrupt.

$ git push gitosis@qgis.org:colorrampmanager.git master
ERROR:gitosis.serve.main:Repository read access denied
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

I have read and write access to other plugin repositories on qgis.org,
so it is not an access problem.

Can someone please fix the problem, or remove the repository so I can
re-create it? I do not know who has actual access to the server.
QGIS Plugin Site - Feature request #6808 (Open): Add an aggregate stats to the plugin manager's viewhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/68082012-12-02T17:39:17ZMatteo Gismondi

Add an aggregate stats to the plugin manager's view that shows number of downloads per country per month. For companies like mine to have such tool is indispensable to understand which country to target for marketing and business development.
Therefore this feature would be greately appreciated.
Thank you
Regards,
Matteo
QGIS Redmine (QGIS bug tracker) - Support #6220 (Open): File issues on the hubhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/62202012-08-17T06:10:48ZJonathan Moules

I've tried to share my QML files on this page: https://issues.qgis.org/wiki/quantum-gis/OS_Styles
While I've been able to upload files there are a couple of issues:

a) I can't delete an old file (MasterMap_Layer_files_for_QGIS.zip - Styling for MasterMap (v1) (26.9 kB) Jonathan Moules, 08/17/2012 03:58 pm)
b) I can't turn the example image into an actual image that's displayed on the page.
QGIS Redmine (QGIS bug tracker) - Support #6202 (Open): tracker bugshttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/62022012-08-15T23:45:00ZJonathan Moules

Two bugs with this web-tracker:
(a) If I change "tracker" from "Bug" to "Feature", most of the bug stuff disappears. But if I change it back to "Bug" it doesn't come back.
(b) If I submit a "Feature" and click "create and continue", the new Feature has all of the details for "Bug" despite saying "Feature".

Using Opera 12.00

(also does it with this one which has "support" instead of "bug". But on this one the "feature" seems to be treated the same way as "bug" on the other one.
QGIS Redmine (QGIS bug tracker) - Support #5467 (Open): Cannot edit issue in User Plugins projecthttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/54672012-04-23T06:42:55ZSalvatore Larosalrssvtml@gmail.com

Is there a particular reason why I can not change the status of the
tickets for the User Plugins project?

In QGIS Desktop project I can change the status and everything else!
QGIS Plugin Site - Feature request #22 (Open): Add an option "Add your plugin to standard GIT"https://issues.qgis.org/issues/222011-03-08T22:44:23ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

When uploading his plugin, the dev should be presented with the option of adding it also to the standard GIT for all plugins. Alternatively, he should indicate the URL of his code versioning system. Plugins without any code repository should be discouraged, or not accepted.
