Currently, if user selects director or MBTiles, both output paths are activated. Best, to deactivate the unused one.
QGIS Plugin Site - Bug report #21715 (Open): Add "Requirements" as optional field in metadata.txthttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/217152019-03-31T16:39:36ZSfkeller -sfkeller@gmail.com

As a user when searching and browsing for a plugin in QGIS extension manager or on the website https://plugins.qgis.org/ , users should be informed before hand about the requirements, dependencies and restrictions of a plugin.

There is currently a newly added text in the "Recommendation" chapter on https://plugins.qgis.org/publish/ to mention requirements, dependencies and restrictions in the About/Description field, if the plugin is running only on selected platforms, requires software to be installed separately or requires some user account.

My suggestion is to add an optional field - perhaps called "requirements" - in metadata.txt, to be filled in by the plugin maintainer. The field entry would be mandatory if there exist such requirements.

Some dependencies and restrictions could even be potentially validated automatically.
QGIS Application - Feature request #21399 (Open): "There is a new QGIS version available. Visit.....https://issues.qgis.org/issues/213992019-02-26T18:13:27Zjb Peterjbpeter@outlook.com

For the past months, the yellow warning message "There is a new QDIS version available. Visit...." has almost always been visible on the startup page even so I am using the latest installation package available for mac OS. This is due to the fact that the latest installation package for mac does not match the current version of QGIS.

For most users, I think it would be more usefull to be informed when a new installation package is available for a specific OS. People who have the skills to compile QGIS from source most likely don't need a message to inform them that a new version is available.
QGIS Application - Feature request #21245 (Open): A more intuitive way to open the group/tab prop...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/212452019-02-12T17:36:41ZAlexandre Heurionaheurion@aquilex-ingenierie.fr

Using the formularies, sometimes we wish a group only shows up with some conditions. There is an option for that (called in french "Configurer le Conteneur") as a dialog box that opens by double clickling on a group name. Then we can write some expression allowing the group to shows up or not (cf.image).
However this is not an intuitive way to use this option (not as much as a "right clic > properties" weel used with Windows). For me, it should be better if the options included in this box are displayed directly at the right of the screen (cf.image) like the informations of the field when we're selecting one.
QGIS Application - Feature request #19924 (Open): Add "Annotation tool" entry in menuhttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/199242018-09-23T14:37:50ZSfkeller -sfkeller@gmail.com

Why is there no "Annotation tool" entry (for Text/Form/HTML/SVG) in (default) menu, e.g. "Layer"?

That should be IMO menu accessible like the Measure tool or like Editing.

This seems to be one of the fiew functions which are not in menu and only accessible through the toolbar.

And speaking of usability, I'm suggesting that the input/cursor focus of the modal dialog "Annotation" should be on the text input (and not on the font properties like now).
QGIS Application - Feature request #19718 (Open): Add Keyboard Shortcut for the the 'Add Delimite...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/197182018-08-28T05:09:42ZDevdatta Tengshedev@tengshe.in

The 'Add Delimited Text Layer' button is the only one which does not have a keyboard shortcut, and that is the one Which I use the Most. We should add a Keyboard shortcut for this as well
QGIS Application - Feature request #19081 (Open): Ability to clear Log Messages panel, and to rel...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/190812018-06-01T03:06:14ZGarth Fletchergarth@jacqcad.com

The contents of the Log Messages panel grow very long, thus awkward to scroll around. This becomes a nuisance primarily when troubleshooting some issue requires frequent inspection of the log.

It could be nice to be able to periodically clear the Log Messages so that only subsequent messages would display.

The most robust implementation might be to maintain the entire session log, but provide:
a "Clear" button which updates a "beginning of display" pointer to the current end of the log contents
i.e., only subsequently appended messages will display
a "Reload" button to reset the display pointer to the beginning of the log to display the entire log.
QGIS Application - Bug report #17980 (Open): "resources/data/world_map.shp" should be only access...https://issues.qgis.org/issues/179802018-01-27T14:33:45ZJohannes Kroeger

When resizing map view in print composer, it automaticaly changes map scale. It would be nice, if it would be possible to lock scale and then it would not change when resizing map view. I.e. to create a printout 1:10 000 no mater how large is map extent.
QGIS Application - Feature request #1873 (Open): *db.dropcol missinghttps://issues.qgis.org/issues/18732009-08-12T06:08:10ZPaolo Cavallinicavallini@faunalia.it

Two useful scripts (v.db.dropcol e db.dropcol) are only available in grass64, so the corresponding modules should be installed only where grass64 is available. An easy fix
